In 2016, Sofia experienced her first Ayurvedic treatment—a specialised eye therapy that not only healed her eye issue but also opened the door to a deeper understanding of the root causes behind the imbalance. This profound experience marked the beginning of a transformative journey. She soon began attending regular consultations with vaidyas (Ayurvedic doctors), both as a form of preventive care and as a way to explore the intricate connection between her body and mind.
This growing awareness sparked a deep love for Ayurveda and its holistic, natural approach—a timeless medical system that gently guides us back to our own true nature. In 2018, she wrote in her journal: “Medicine—a calling to work with Ayurveda.” Two years later, she began her formal studies, learning alongside wise and gifted Ayurvedic therapists and vaidyas from around the world.
In 2024, her journey came full circle when she traveled to India to undergo Panchakarma, the most profound Ayurvedic process of purification and rejuvenation, experiencing its powerful effects firsthand in her own body, mind and spirit.
